Dolphin Snorkel Sail

Our dolphin watching tour is enjoyed by people of all ages. Pick up from your hotel is provided, and the driver will call your name out upon arrival. Our tour bus will pick up guests from different hotels in Waikiki. The ride out to the yacht harbor is approximately 40 minutes from the last hotel.

Your driver will direct you to the waiting area to board the catamaran. If you have not changed into your swimsuit yet, there will be restrooms available within the store as well as on the catamaran. Cold drinks will be available in the store at the harbor. The catamaran will depart at 9 am and the captain will be on hand at 8:50 am. For PM sailings, the catamaran will leave at 1 pm, and the captain aboard at 12:50 pm.

The ‘Ko Olina Cat’, our custom-made catamaran, provides a smooth sailing that is a joy to experience. Upon departure, you will receive safety instructions, and with that, head out west into the open oceans.

Upon leaving the harbor, breakfast (or lunch) will be served. Breakfasts will include croissants and lunches sandwiches. Fruits and drinks will also be provided. Alcoholic beverages are limited up to two drinks per person and we recommend you enjoy the drinks after your snorkeling.

After a 30 minute cruise, you will reach your destination offshore of Makaha. Please be sure to listen to the safety tips from your instructor and do not swim too far from the catamaran. While snorkeling, you will see a wide variety of tropical fish and green sea turtles. The catamaran staff will be on the lookout for your safety, so enjoy your snorkeling experience.

After snorkeling, it is now time to go see the dolphins! About 300 to 400 dolphins live in the area, and although we cannot guarantee they will appear, usually you will soon be able to see them. They are not shy creatures, and will often come up close to swim alongside the catamaran.

After dolphin watching, you will continue to enjoy the sailing while heading back to the yacht harbor. Cocktails and other alcoholic beverages will be served so you can have a drink while viewing the beautiful wide open ocean and south shores of the island.

After 3 hours of sailing, the catamaran will reach the yacht harbor at 12 pm. The tour bus will be there at 12:10 pm to take you back to your hotel. If you would like to change out of your wet swimsuits, please use the 10 minutes in between to do so. The ride back to the hotel will be approximately 50 minutes so relax and enjoy the ride back while daydreaming of the dolphins.
